David, 41, has been a self-employed
commercial real estate entrepreneur since the age of 18 when he
purchased, renovated and sold an 18 unit apartment building in Buffalo,
NY that was slated for demolition. From those humble beginnings
he has personally closed over $1 billion in commercial real estate
transactions as a real estate broker, mortgage broker and principal.
David moved to Florida in 1991
and became a licensed Florida real estate agent. During the worst
down cycle of the real estate industry since the Great Depression
he listed and sold foreclosed retail, office, industrial and apartment
properties owned by banks, insurance companies, RTC & FDIC. He parlayed
his experience as a real estate and mortgage broker to equity stakes
in apartment communities, mobile home parks, business parks and
land development projects.
In 1994 David formed Bison Financial
Group with his brother, Jared. David is a licensed real estate broker
and a licensed mortgage broker in the state of Florida. He enjoys
skiing, snow boarding, sailboat racing, wind surfing, sea kayaking,
fishing and martial arts. He is married to Tanya Baird, a residential
real estate broker specializing in luxury and waterfront properties,
and has three daughters. David graduated Magna Cum Laude from Canisius
College in Buffalo, New York in 1988.
